Bi-LED Projector Retrofit
Housing opened, projector unit and shroud fitted, wiring loomed and the whole assembly resealed, then calibrated on the wall and on the road before you collect the car.
Primemeridianstore takes enquiries by phone, email or in person at the Newcastle workshop, and every message gets a reply from a real person.
The phone gets answered first, because most questions are quicker to sort out in a two minute conversation than in a chain of emails. If you would rather write, the form on this page goes straight to Michelle's inbox. If you are local, the door is open during bench hours and there is usually someone free to look at your lamp while you wait.

Best for photos and part numbers. Attach what you have and we will work from that.

Welcome
During bench hours
We are in the light industrial strip off Workshop Way, roughly ten minutes from the Newcastle CBD and five from the Hunter Street end of town. The roller door is on the left side of the building as you pull in, with a small sign above it. Parking is free out the front, and there is usually room for a ute and trailer if you are towing a car in.
If you are coming from Maitland or Cessnock, allow an extra ten minutes in the morning peak. The Saturday morning slot is busy with parts collections, so if you want a fitting done that morning, book it during the week and we will have the bench ready.
None of this is mandatory, but the more of it you bring, the fewer times you have to call back.
Front, back and one from a low angle. Phone shots are fine, and the back shot is the one that tells us whether the plug will suit a retrofit.
Trim matters more than people think. A base model and a top spec sometimes use different housings on the same year of car.
Dim, foggy, flickering, one side out, dash warning. Each of those points at a different fix and a different price.
If another shop has already opened the housing, say so. Sealing a lamp that has been glued once with silicone is a different job.
The phone is usually quicker, but if these cover your question, save the call. If not, ring anyway and ask.
Not for a look or a parts pickup. For fitting work, yes, because the bench is tied up with a booking most days. Ring ahead and we will find a slot, usually within three days.
Yes for most cars, and we will say so when a photo is not enough. The only time we insist on seeing the lamp is when a housing has been opened badly before, because photos do not show how the sealant is sitting.
Restoration is done in three hours, and you can often wait for it. A standard retrofit is one day in the bay. Full rebuilds can run into two days if the sealant has to be stripped right back, and we will tell you before we start.
Anywhere in Australia, at $14.50 flat per parcel, free once the cart passes $300. For New Zealand and the Pacific, ring first and we will price the parcel before you pay.
The form on this page does not take attachments, so here is the drill. Send the message first with the car details. We reply with a photo address. Two shots of each lamp is plenty: one from the front at eye level, one from behind showing the plug and any wiring.
If the lamp is cracked or fogging from the inside, add a shot from below. That angle shows where water is getting in better than anything else.
That is fine too. Some people ring about a part they cannot name, or a warranty question, or a parcel that has gone missing in the post. All of it goes to the same inbox and the same person.
Warranty wording lives in the Terms and Conditions, and the refund process is in the Refund Policy. Both are short enough to read while the kettle boils.
If you are ringing about one of these, read the page first. It usually answers the question you were going to ask.

Sanding back the yellow, recoating with a UV stable clear and metering the output afterwards. Usually the cheapest way to get an older car safe again at night.
Two articles that come up in most phone calls. Reading either of these will save us both a few minutes.
She has been here long enough to know what a housing looks like from a description of the noise it makes. If she cannot answer on the spot, she will ring you back the same day.
