Primemeridianstore Privacy Policy
Primemeridianstore keeps the personal information you share when you order LED headlight optics, projector lenses or repair components limited to what we actually need to pick, pack and deliver your parcel. This page explains what we collect, how long it stays in our systems, who else may see it and how you can ask us to correct or delete it. It covers orders placed through the website, phone enquiries and workshop visits at our Newcastle counter.
What cookies are and why we use them
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We use them so the shop remembers your cart between pages, so we can see which products people are actually searching for, and so the site loads reasonably quickly.
We don't use cookies for cross-site advertising or for reselling your browsing history. That isn't the business we're in.
The cookies we set
- Session and cart cookies: keep track of what you have added to the basket and which step of the checkout you are on. These are essential and cannot be turned off.
- Preference cookie: stores the answer you give in our cookie banner, so we don't ask again on every visit.
- Analytics cookies: count visits and show which pages and search terms lead to a purchase, in aggregated form.
- Workshop booking reminder: stores your slot reference so the confirmation page loads correctly if you refresh.
Cookies set by other services
Our payment provider sets its own cookies once you reach the card entry screen, so it can screen for fraud. The mapping embed for our Newcastle location may also drop a short-lived session cookie when the map loads. Those cookies belong to those providers, and their own policies cover them.
Your choice
You can accept or decline the optional cookies at any time through the banner shown on your first visit. Declining only affects analytics and preferences; the basket and checkout still work, because those cookies are essential to the site running at all.
Beyond our banner, your browser itself lets you delete or block cookies in its settings. Blocking all cookies will break the cart and the checkout, so we suggest at least allowing the essential ones.
How long they last
Session cookies clear when you close the browser. The preference cookie that remembers your banner choice lasts for twelve months. Analytics cookies are kept for fourteen months before they expire.

Request your order records
Send us the email address you used at checkout and the approximate order date. We will pull the invoices and delivery notes we still hold and send a copy back, usually within three business days.
